Job Title: First-Line Supervisors

Job Duties: Responsible for serving as first-line supervisor for potato farm site. Specific duties include: (1) Supervising multiple acres of potato farming operation to ensure planting and harvesting procedures are followed consistently and effectively; (2) Providing coaching, supervision, and direction to ensure employees manage fields according to company procedures; (3) Participating in annual reviews of operations for team members under supervision; (4) Supervising field operation, seeding cutting, and storage areas; (5) Purchasing capital and crop inputs within budget; (6) Monitoring budget and identifying equipment and field chemical needs; (7) Developing medium- and long-term strategic plans with management regarding land base, cost reduction, equipment needs, team development, and overall growth; and (8) Supervising annual land procurement process.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related; two years of multi-acre farm experience, including specific supervisory experience.
