Temporary Part Time Cashier - Seasonal.
Parkside Store is seeking friendly, dependable, cashiers to join our team for the busy summer season. We are a fast-paced grocery, convenience, beer, wine, liquor and camping supply store serving thousands of vacationing customers each week.
Responsibilities:
- Greet Customers in a friendly manner
- Accurately operate a cash register and process cash, credit and debit transactions.
- Verify identification for age-restricted sales
- Bag purchases and assist customers as needed
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required-We will train the right candidate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Schedule
- Part-time (approximately 20 hours a week)
- Must be available mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Seasonal employment through late September.
Pay
- Starting at $15.00 per hour, based on experience.
