Summary:
Responsible for performing diversified assembly and testing operations on hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. This role ensures products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements prior to shipment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform assembly and testing tasks as directed by Shop Leads, Supervisors, or Operations Management
• Assemble, fit, align, and adjust hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to meet engineering performance specifications
• Set up and operate test stand equipment independently for pressure and functional testing
• Interpret and work from complex assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices to verify tolerances and product quality
• Identify defects, malfunctions, or quality issues and take corrective action or escalate appropriately
• Accurately document inspection results, test data, and production records in required systems
• Maintain or exceed established production rates while ensuring quality standards are met
• Perform light preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties for assigned work areas and equipment
• Support inventory accuracy through proper material handling and documentation
• Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to ensure workflow continuity
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions per established procedures
• Follow all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision or Management

• Hydraulic test stands
• Precision measuring and gauging instruments

• ADP timekeeping
• Microsoft Office
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Experience with mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing operations
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and hydraulics
• Ability to work any assigned shift
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical disciplines
• Experience in hydraulic assembly or valve testing
• Prior experience in a precision manufacturing environment
