Job Responsibilities
Job Description:
Create and maintain company quality scorecard reporting to include daily, weekly, monthly production quality, launch, warranty for all business locations.
Identify opportunities for improvement, set aggressive quality metrics and quality performance objectives that drive and enhance quality in the company.
Ensures the development of quality staff tied to performance and succession planning while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Identifies and mitigate risks and drives corrective action plans to address quality issues.
Oversee the analysis and review of supplier performance including reviews of customer complaints, and internal process issues.
Ensures that supplier quality performance, supplier processes and company evaluations support current and future product quality standards.
Ensure that Quality Management Systems (QMS) support new product launches, and continuous improvement of current quality systems to support company strategy and growth.
Ensure that robust internal and external ISO audits are in compliance and drive the success of the quality programs at Trijicon.
Evaluate manufacturing processes and products to identify risks and drive improvements.
Identify tools and systems to enhance quality efforts including but limited to quality tools and fixtures i.e. robust measurement tools, gauges, and gauging procedures.
Lead the quality efforts with Product and Manufacturing Engineering teams to including but not limited to drawing reviews, defining Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements for proper measurement and gauging techniques.
Ensure the design of comprehensive quality training systems and instructions for Trijicon products and services.
Oversee budget development, resource allocation, and project management for quality initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems & Improvement and/or 10+ years of applicable quality experience.

Strong knowledge in leading and developing Quality Management systems, and ISO 9001
Working knowledge of Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies
Excellent analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex quality data and metrics.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on offering proactive solutions.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to travel as needed to support quality initiatives
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
