Our client, a leading property management and industrial development organization, is seeking a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate to join their team. As a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting property upkeep and building maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate
Location: Negaunee, MI
Pay Range: $18 to $25
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep facilities in optimal condition
Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, sanding, and painting
Conduct roof inspections and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems troubleshooting and repairs
Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
What's Needed?
Experience in carpentry and building maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Strong organizational skills for record-keeping and planning
Valid Driver's License/Chauffeur Driver's License (testing fee reimbursement available)
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
