Position Summary:
Entry-level robotic weld technician who operates robotic welding equipment, monitors production output, and performs basic inspections while following established work instructions. This role supports daily production and develops technical skills through hands-on training and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify basic robotic welding programs to support new products, process changes, and weld assemblies with minimal oversight.
Diagnose and resolve basic complexity welding, programming, fixturing, and equipment issues with guidance.
Identify and escalate process, equipment or material issues
Maintain safe work practices and PPE compliance
Meet production expectations with guidance
Use proper lifting and handling techniques
Quality ownership through in-process checks and escalation of non-conformances
Participate in continuous improvement and 6S
Qualifications:
2+ years of progressive industrial robotic welding experience.
Working knowledge of robotic welding equipment, processes and fixturing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and part tolerances.
Solid mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality and safety standards.
