Schedule- Part-time / Flexible Schedule
Hourly pay rate negotiated based on experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs layouts and documents results for PPAP submissions
- Performs layouts for production process and compiles/evaluates gathered data to determine/maintain quality and reliability of products
- Performs capability studies and R & R studies.
- Layout inspection gages/fixtures, as needed. Ensure all calibrations are completed on or before their due dates. Minor gage repairs.
- Support engineering by measuring tooling / some reverse engineering required.
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering within limits of equipment capability
- Prepares graphs or charts of data, or enters data into computer for analysis
- Helps with Audits, first pieces, receiving, training, etc. as needed
- Completes hourly SPC measurements on production parts as required.
Education/Experience:
- CMM Programmer Experience 3-5 years
- Automotive experience
- Experience with PC DMIS software
- Experience within a manufacturing environment providing metrology solutions
- GD&T and Quality Systems knowledge
- Knowledgeable in surface plate layouts
- Proficient with Microsoft office products.
