Job Description:
The Cross-Regional Order Management & Planning Specialist leads and supports inventory planning, order management, and customer service activities, with a strong focus on cross-regional material flow (IRF) and global supply balancing.
This role is critical to ensuring efficient inventory movement across regions, optimizing global supply, and minimizing both shortages and excess. The specialist partners closely with regional teams to align priorities, improve supply visibility, and strengthen decision-making across APAC, Latin America, Europe, and North America.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and optimize cross-regional inventory flow (IRF) to balance supply and demand across global networks
Maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting service targets and staying within investment guidelines
Monitor demand trends and forecast accuracy to improve global inventory positioning
Identify and execute inter-regional transfer opportunities to reduce shortages, minimize excess, and improve fill rates
Analyze global inventory positions and reporting to identify risks, opportunities, and required rebalancing actions
Manage stocking policies (min/max levels) aligned with global flow strategies and service objectives
Support forecasting and demand planning through data analysis, trend evaluation, and exception management
Drive reduction of slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory through global redistribution strategies
Review warehouse inventory levels and coordinate order quantities and inter-regional movements
Communicate supply risks, shortages, and mitigation plans to stakeholders across regions
Partner with regional planning and order management teams to align on supply strategies, constraints, and priorities
Lead cross-regional alignment meetings to drive decisions on inventory balancing, prioritization, and IRF execution
Act as the central coordinator for cross-regional supply actions, ensuring alignment and follow-through on agreed plans
Drive accountability across regions by tracking actions, resolving gaps, and ensuring execution of inventory strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply planning, order management, or inventory control
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively across multiple regions, time zones, and cross-functional teams
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align stakeholders at different levels
Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced global environment
Experience managing or supporting cross-regional supply flows, inter-regional transfers, and global inventory balancing
Background in international operations or global supply chain environments
Experience with performance metrics, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives
Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, AI, or automation tools to improve forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply-demand matching
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions
Familiarity with digital supply chain tools, decision intelligence platforms, or scenario modeling
Strong understanding of how advanced analytics can improve service levels, reduce excess inventory, and enhance cross-regional planning decisions

Experience supporting international/global supply chains.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
Strong customer service experience since this is service business.
Experience with order management and tracking orders from start to finish.
Strong background in inventory planning and maintaining inventory levels.
Experience managing cross-regional or international supply chain operations.
Ability to track and prioritize VOR (critical) orders.
Experience identifying root causes of supply chain issues and resolving them.
Ability to create mitigation plans to prevent shortages and improve service levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with global teams and coordinating across multiple regions.
