Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC mill machines. You will work with Fanuc-controlled mills using CAD/CAM programming and operate 3-axis CNC machines daily. The role involves working on parts for various projects including press builds, tool builds, and mold builds for soft touch products.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC mill machines.
Work with Fanuc-controlled mills and CAD/CAM programming.
Operate 3-axis CNC machines on a daily basis.
Produce parts for OEM projects including press, tool, and mold builds.
Ensure precision and quality in the manufacturing of soft interior parts for vehicles.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience as a CNC operator.
5 years of programming experience using CAD/CAM, EDGECAM, Mastercam, Gibbscam, WorkNC, or Tebis.
Ability to independently set up CNC machines.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with mechanical machine operation.

Work Environment
This position is a 1st shift role with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, working 8-hour shifts and occasionally 10 if needed. The manufacturing environment is clean, organized, and temperature controlled, featuring multiple areas such as shipping/receiving, CNC, assembly, lab, and a 3D printer. Steel-toe boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
