- Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.
- Previous security, law enforcement or other related experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
- Excellent integrity and demonstrated good moral character and initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must be available to work weekend and nighttime hours.
- Must be able to work in a stationary position as well as remain standing for periods of time.
- Must be able to traverse the estate to make regular rounds and to visually inspect areas for safety.
