The Circular Economy North America Repair Activities Lead is responsible for leading, scaling, and optimizing repair operations across NA to maximize part reuse, extend product life cycles, and drive sustainable value creation, grow repair revenues and repair profitability.
This role oversees end-to-end repair strategies-including identification, triage, refurbishment, and reintegration into the supply chain-ensuring alignment with Mopar service, remanufacturing, and recycling objectives.
This role also plays a critical leadership function in quality oversight and supplier accountability, ensuring repaired parts meet OEM standards while actively recovering value through non-conformance management and supplier chargebacks.
The lead will work cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, quality, purchasing, and external partners to establish a high-performing repair ecosystem that supports cost efficiency, value creation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Repair Strategy & Program Development
Define and execute the North America repair strategy across key part categories (electronics, mechanical, trim, etc.)
Identify high-value repair opportunities through data analysis (returns, warranty, scrap streams, dealer returns)
Grow repair revenues and repair profitability
Develop scalable repair models (in-house, 3rd party, hybrid) aligned with business cases and ROI targets
Integrate repair into broader circular economy initiatives (remanufacturing, recycling, dismantling)
2) Operations & Execution
Oversee daily repair activities and performance across internal sites and external partners
Oversee an onsite team of warehouse repair specialists and quality analysts
Implement standardized repair processes, triage criteria, and routing logic
Optimize throughput, turnaround time, and cost efficiency of repair operations
Drive implementation of repair workflows within existing Mopar supply chain systems
3) Supplier & Partner Management
Identify, onboard, and manage third-party repair vendors and service providers
Lead commercial and operational alignment with Purchasing and Legal
Establish performance metrics, and quality standards for repair partners
Conduct regular business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage supplier quality recoveries, including chargebacks tied to defects, warranty returns, and failed repair outcomes
4) Quality & Engineering Collaboration
Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to define repair feasibility and standards
Ensure repaired parts meet OEM specifications and customer expectations
Support feedback loops to engineering for design-for-repair improvements
Drive resolution of non-conformance tickets (NCTs) in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and suppliers
Implement root cause analysis on failures and repair inefficiencies
5) Financial & Performance Management
Develop and manage repair-related business cases, budgets, and savings targets
Track KPIs including repair rate, cost avoidance, margin contribution, and scrap reduction
Provide regular reporting and executive summaries to leadership
Drive continuous improvement to maximize margin capture from repair activities
6) Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Mopar, remanufacturing, supply chain, and circular economy teams
Lead or support RASCI definition for repair processes across the organization
Drive change management and adoption of repair initiatives internally

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, operations, remanufacturing, repair, or aftermarket services
Strong understanding of automotive parts lifecycle and Mopar/service ecosystem
Experience managing people, external suppliers and operational performance
Proven ability to build business cases and lead cross-functional initiatives
Strong analytical skills (Excel, data modeling, performance tracking)
Familiarity with dealer return flows, warranty analysis, or salvage streams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in circular economy, remanufacturing, or sustainable operations
Knowledge of automotive electronics and component repair processes
Experience implementing process frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma)
