The Ontonagon Area School District is doing a posting for a potential 2nd grade elementary education teachers. We are looking for someone who is trained in Letrs or willing to obtain, understands and is comfortable utilizing data to inform instruction, comfortable with small group instruction, is open minded to try new things and works well as part of a team. Additionally, as an elementary team we are in the process of onboarding Bridges math with training for all staff in AVMR (Advantage Math Recovery). Our team is a group of individuals with an encouraging personality, willingness to work collaboratively with classroom teachers, and has the ability to be creative and flexible. Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE (Michigan Department of Education); Or the ability to obtain an emergency license while working to obtain full licensure.
- Letrs training or willingness to obtain
- AVMR training or willingness to obtain
