Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywall Hanger and Finisher to join our team.
We perform interior and exterior painting, framing, kitchens, basements, drywalling, flooring, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various drywall techniques and construction practices, with the ability to work effectively on diverse projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with other tradespeople on-site.
Candidate must be able to travel to job sites within 20 minutes of Lansing, MI.
Upon 180 day evaluation, option to be hired as full time employee, additional raises, and potential onboarding will be discussed.
Pay Range
$20-35/hr, We start all candidates at $20 on the first day and can move up to $35 by the end of the week if the skills required are provided by the candidate.
Required Responsibilities
- Execute drywall tasks including hanging, finishing and understanding a level 3 or higher finish.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required by the job demands.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Optional Responsibilities
- Perform framing, painting, caulking, and flooring installation as needed.
- Assist in water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts.
- Conduct fixture installation, door hanging, and caulking to complete projects to specifications.

Skills
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
Strong experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, and cabinetry a plus, but not required.
Experience with plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation a plus, but not required.
Capability of performing restoration tasks including water damage restoration and mold remediation a plus, but not required.
