Aptiv seeks Purchasing Program Manager in Troy, MI.

Duties: Lead supplier selection including the RFQ process, supplier evaluation and communication as well as key participation in sourcing decisions. Manage global procurement activities for all Global Product Line across assigned customers’ projects worldwide. Responsible for the change management process for Procurement as well as project planning. Represent the SCMteam when working across the functions (Sales, Engineering etc.) and lead technical supplier discussions. Act as the central interface between the Global Product Line and central SCMteam (material field related purchasing, quality functions). Lead and represent SCM in global reviews with the Senior Management Team. Deliver committed material performance for projects globally. Drive Categories to deliver on P2P and Engineering to deliver on Design Cost Saving Initiatives. Support the business in research and use of new technology suppliers. Manage global SCM financial Risk & Opportunity Tracker. Determine material cost for new programs and approve purchased parts business cases.
