Job Details

Kitchen/Janitorial Responsibilities:

• Basic food prep as directed by Chef(s) (like peeling vegetables) 
• Operate dishwasher to wash and sanitize trays, plates, utensils and other serving equipment
• Sweep and mop floors daily
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms bi-weekly

.Stock Responsibilities

• Receiving and Unloading: Accept and unload incoming shipments of merchandise from vendors. 
• Inventory Management: Record, track, and report on inventory levels, identify shortages, and conduct regular inventory counts. 
• Stocking and Replenishment: Move products and place them on shelves and displays. 
• Merchandise Display: Arrange products neatly and efficiently on shelves, ensuring they are properly priced, labeled, and rotated. 
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks  to move inventory. 
• Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly stockroom area. 
• Meticulous in checking for damaged or expired products and in ensuring correct placement of items. 

Driver Responsibilities:

• Load and unload food delivery vans with packaged school meals.
• Drive meals to various K–12 charter school sites in SE Michigan.
• Communicate with school staff to fulfill specific site needs.
• Accurately fill out and submit daily production worksheets.
• Assist with stock organization and prep as needed.
• Represent CJ’s Catering professionally at each delivery location.

Ability to collaborate with other team members and to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
