We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards compliant with Food Safety guidelines. This role works closely with the front of the house staff to ensure guests receive consistently prepared meals and a great dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations before start of shift
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy service periods.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
- Rotate and properly store food using FIFO inventory practices.
- Minimize food waste through proper preparation and storage.
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management to provide excellent customer service.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for ex ended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, and work in a hot kitchen environment
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
