Youth Services Programming Assistant - Job Description

Starting pay: $16.17/hr with annual step increases.
Benefits include: PTO leave and paid holidays.
Hours of work: Average weekly hours 20 - 24/week. Evening and Weekend hours are required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting youth and their caregivers in their use of the Youth Services Department.
- Creating and implementing library programs for youth.
- Assists with library material and literacy related projects.
- Performing routine tasks to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
Bachelor's degree or significant related experience is required. Candidates must have a strong desire to work directly with youth and their caregivers. Previous customer service experience is required, and previous library experience is preferred.
