Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in a highly automated facility. We are seeking nine skilled technicians to work across three shifts: 1st Shift (6:30am - 2:30pm), 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm), and 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 6:30am). This role requires mandatory work every other weekend, with voluntary overtime during the week. Technicians will be using laptops and communication devices regularly while working closely in a team setting to repair and maintain advanced pneumatic and automation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production.
- Provide technical assistance to operators and other departments regarding automated systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot malfunctions on automated machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, completed repairs, equipment issues, and replacement part usage.
- Install new automated systems and equipment, configure controllers, and set up sensors.
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper operation of production equipment.
- Conduct daily checks of production equipment during up and downtime.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment.
- Strong experience in repairing pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, pneumatic, and computer control systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to complex technical issues within automated systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with mechanical components, including servo motors, actuators, AC motors, and sensors.
- Experience in plc troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.

Work Environment
The facility is large, requiring frequent walking between buildings and within the plant. Some departments, such as the dry room, require specific attire like garbs and beard nets. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, with a strong emphasis on 5S3K.

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.
The company offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. They provide $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
