The Machine Operator will report directly to the Production Supervisor, and the main responsibilities are as below, but not limited to:
- Visually inspect all parts.
- Trim and assemble parts with subcomponents as required within the cycle time.
- Notify the Production Supervisor of part or quality variances.
- Participate in Team meetings and activities
- Tidiness of the immediate machine workstation and the surrounding area.
- Grind all runners and rejected parts.
- Repackaging or sorting existing finished goods as directed by the Production Supervisor.
- Packaging of finished goods.
- Verification and labeling of finished goods as required.
- Follow safety procedures and understand machine and equipment functions and safety devices.
- Maintain cycle standards when running a semi-automatic cycle or assembly operation
- Responsible for the quality of parts, including assembly and correct labeling
- Any other duties directed by the Production Supervisor
