Turning Leaf Behavioral Health Services is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team. No experience? We provide paid training for individuals with the right attitude and a passion for helping others.
As a DSP, you'll support adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, helping them live as independently and successfully as possible.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Promote a safe, clean, and positive home environment.
- Administer medications (training provided).
- Complete daily documentation and communicate with the care team.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in direct care, caregiving, healthcare, or human services is a plus—but not required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and reliable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan driver's license or State ID.
- Proof of education and TB test before hire.
- Ability to pass a Michigan Long-Term Care Workforce Background Check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete a pre-employment health screening.
