Description
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Specialist opportunity at NDX Dental Art Laboratory in Lansing, MI.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Enter prescription information via Data Entry to schedule cases
Perform the scheduling function for each case received
Through LIS, enter demographics and customer information
Print preference notes matching to case
Responsible for billing and invoicing all finished cases and will sort and attach
Assist with answering incoming calls
Make outgoing calls to customer's offices
Respond to all inquiries from customer's offices
Secondary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear
Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions
Responsible for properly packing all completed cases
Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping
Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures
Disburse cases for local drivers
Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes
All other jobs as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Demonstrated relevant employment experience may be considered in lieu of education
Dental office experience preferred
Dental terminology knowledge preferred
Billing experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
