Position Details
Position: Occupational Therapist (School-Based)
Location: 48209 area
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Duration: 38-week contract
Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Flexible scheduling available - as long as all assigned students receive services and required documentation is completed
What You'll Do
Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and support student success across educational environments
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
NBCOT certification preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for helping children reach their full potential
