The Bay County Department of Water & Sewer is seeking resumes from qualified persons for a Customer Service Representative at Bay County Department of Water and Sewer. Due the retirement of a long-time employee, the Department has an opening in their customer service and billing division. This is a full-time union position.
Qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED and valid Michigan driver license. Examples of general duties include but are not limited to utility billing processing, answer, screen and distribute telephone calls, various clerical tasks as assigned, proficient use of calculator, keyboard, telephone, and basic office equipment. Excellent reasoning, mathematical, communication, and language skills are necessary.
The annual salary for this position starts at $46,488 and progresses to $52,811 based on the 2026 fiscal year wage scale. Excellent fringe benefits include Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance plans, 13 paid holidays, paid sick and vacation, a defined benefit pension plan, and licensing/tuition reimbursement.
