Senior Controls Engineer: Atom Design Services LLC d/b/a AtomTech (Sterling Heights, MI) seeks a Senior Controls Engineer (multiple positions). Responsible for designing and debugging logic to control electrical/automated industrial processes, industrial communication networks, safety circuit design. Designs, tests, and troubleshoots electrical and automation systems for industrial processes. Designs and configures industrial networks and controls devices. Designs and configures interfaces between the controller and special equipment. Improves process cycle time and provides support production. Analyzes, designs and executes plant engineering processes. Works with Safety PLC systems and the application of safety standards, as well robot integration and programming for industrial automation. Problem-solves to optimize processes and improves performance, communicates and collaborates to work with cross-functional teams and support customers. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field with 4 years of experience in control system design, programming, and commissioning.
