Job Description

This position administers, directs, and coordinates activities of patient care of assigned units per 24 hours. Make recommendations, develops, and implements policies and procedures and apprises the Director of Nursing and the Director of Health Services of progress and potential problems. Responsible for direction and evaluation of patient care delivery. Second line supervisor of RN Managers-1 per 24 hours, 7 days per week. Includes the supervision of Central Nursing Office RN Manager-2 as assigned. As an Associate Director of Nursing assumes administrative responsibilities for the Nursing Department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a diploma or associate's degree in nursing.
Experience
Two years of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse 12 or a Registered Nurse Manager 12, or one year equivalent to a Registered Nurse 13 or a Registered Nurse Manager 13.
Additional Requirements and Information
RN
Possession of a Michigan license in good standing as a registered nurse.
Individuals in these positions may be eligible to work 12 hour shifts.
This position is located at the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital. 1312 Oakland Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
