CNC Machinist (Direct Hire) - 1st shift

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Livonia, MI . We're looking for a motivated machinist with experience reading blueprints, interpreting customer specifications, and machining precision aerospace components. Aerospace manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Parts range from approximately 30" to 70" in diameter and support both military and commercial aerospace programs.
Compensation & Benefits
Key Responsibilities
Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines.
Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously within manufacturing cells when applicable.
Machine precision components from Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and other hard metals.
Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, customer specifications, and CNC programs.
Utilize Fanuc controls to make program offsets and machine adjustments.
Load parts onto fixtures and safely operate hoists for loading large components.
Set up tooling and read tool sheets for production runs.
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, swing gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Operate right-angle heads as required.
Apply GD&T principles to maintain tight tolerances measured in thousandths of an inch.
Follow all quality, safety, and production standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Aerospace machining experience strongly preferred.
Experience machining components for major aerospace OEMs is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, machine setup, tooling, and Fanuc controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and CNC programs.
Working knowledge of GD&T and precision measuring instruments.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely work around large machining equipment.
Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
