Millennium Software, Inc. has an opening for the position of Software Test Engineer (Ref# STE72VRK).
Work Location: Southfield, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Test and validate software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, systems engineering, and project management to identify and resolve software defects. Participate in Agile Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop test cases for new features. Develop and document system requirements and execute and document bench/system test plans. Analyze and troubleshoot software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Provide support for on-site software/system installation, integration, validation, and verification. Assess compliance with system-level requirements using both software and hardware. Actively engage in project demonstrations for end clients. Use of DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and Python.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Lead, or related experience. Position requires 3 years of experience with system testing, test cases, DOORS, and JIRA. 40hrs/week.
