Design and optimize Battery Disconnect Units for high-voltage battery systems used in electric vehicle and energy storage applications to meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements; support integration with battery management and inverter systems to ensure proper functionality and system compatibility; select electrical components, prepare schematic diagrams, and support PCB design including thermal management, electrical protection, and current sensing functions; perform engineering analysis and testing including thermal, electrical, and mechanical evaluation to verify product performance; support prototype development, validation testing, and certification activities and prepare technical documentation and test reports; coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams to support product development and production implementation.
