We’re looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys fixing equipment and keeping things
running.
This is a year-round position with a mix of shop work and field support.
What You’ll Do
During the paving season (approximately 50% shop / 50% field):
- Perform oil changes, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment
- Replace belts, hoses, recoil starters, lights, wiring, pumps, valves, and other components
- Deliver equipment and materials to crews
- Fill in with field crews when needed
- Keep equipment operating safely and efficiently
During the winter (approximately 90% shop):
- Rebuild and restore company equipment
- Repair sealcoating tanks and systems
- Paint, service, and prepare equipment for spring
- Learn to rebuild sealcoating pumps (paid training)
- Help develop our new pump rebuilding service
