Industrial Electrician – Machine Wiring Specialist
Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician who can wire, troubleshoot, and
commission industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work
closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure equipment is
installed safely, efficiently, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
• Machine wiring — Layout, wire, and terminate industrial machines, control panels,
and automation equipment
• Electrical schematics — Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and PLC
I/O layouts
• Troubleshooting — Diagnose electrical issues on motors, drives, sensors, and
control systems
• Installation — Install conduit, cable trays, disconnects, and power distribution
components
• Safety compliance — Follow NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards at all
times
Qualifications
• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of 480V 3-phase systems, control circuits, and motor starters
• Ability to build and wire control panels from schematics
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Journeyman license or equivalent experience is a plus
