Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician for a full-time, long-term position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Occasionally, you may have the opportunity to work from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with voluntary Saturday shifts. While not mandatory, flexibility for a 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift is appreciated during project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Dismantle, rebuild, adjust, clean, inspect, repair, paint, and assemble equipment, including electrical hookup, for demonstration and development tests.
Operate all equipment for various tests and maintain primary and auxiliary equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and disassemble machinery using hand and power tools.
Fit and lay out mating parts of assemblies, locate, scribe, and spot punch parts for additional machining.
Replace defective or worn parts and reassemble machinery.
Adjust clearance and timing of control devices to specifications.
Assemble, operate, disassemble, clean up, and reassemble all machinery as instructed.
Set up and prepare equipment, establish rates as instructed, and operate test machinery while recording pertinent data.
Conduct routine evaluation of sample materials and modify components for tests as required.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and machine building.
Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Mechanical assembly skills.
General labor knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry-level mechanically inclined individuals are welcome.
Experience in welding, pipefitting, or car maintenance.
Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Schematic reading.
Installation experience.
Machine building.
Military Veteran with Secret Clearance is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $31.00/hr.
