Qualifications
- Previous meat, deli, food service, grocery, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments.
- Ability to safely operate slicers, scales, knives, broaster equipment, and other department equipment after training.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to refrigerated and freezer environments.
- Exposure to raw meat products and food preparation areas.
- Frequent contact with customers.
- Weekend, holiday, and evening work may be required.
