Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center (NMCAC)
The Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting children, families, and victims of sexual assault by providing oversight and coordination of our medical services programs.
Position Details
- Salary: $30.25 - $36.20 per hour
- Hours: Minimum of 32 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible hours with a hybrid work schedule
- Primary Office Location: Roscommon, Michigan
- Travel: Occasional travel to our satellite office in Tawas
- In-Office Requirements: Tuesdays and Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and coordination of the NMCAC Medical Program
- Coordinate and support non-acute medical examinations for children
- Assist with administration and oversight of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program, The First Step Program
- Support program compliance, documentation, reporting, and quality improvement activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, healthcare providers, and community partners
- Assist with scheduling, tracking services, and ensuring continuity of care for clients
Qualifications
- Healthcare, nursing, program coordination, or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between office locations
