HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Software QA Analyst & Tester (Ref# SQAAT630UVDM).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, conduct quality assurance (QA) analysis and testing of software applications in diverse business and technical environments. Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases that meet the client requirements. Perform software testing, including test automation, regression strategy, REST API validation, and integration testing aligned with Agile and DevOps practices. Identify smoke test suite and regression test suite. Create test data as per the need. Create a requirement traceability matrix (RTM) to have all test scenarios mapped to the exact requirements and features. Responsible for test environment configuration planning to ensure the environment and databases are correctly set up. Organize reviews of test cases and technical documents with stakeholders, development teams, and interfacing application teams. Contribute to CI/CD integration using Jenkins, Docker, and Git, ensuring smooth deployment of automated test suites across multiple environments. Execute test plans based on the system requirements specification. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Ensure the desired quality standards and system functionality are being met. Perform security testing and ensure that applications are not susceptible to security threats, violations, and vulnerabilities. Perform negative testing to ensure thorough coverage. Report issues immediately to the development team and raise the defects. Retest the defects and close them by following the proper life cycle. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) meetings. Work actively with stakeholders and development teams for timely resolution of defects. Track and retest defects till closure to ensure the application is bug free. Identify requirement gaps, if any, and work with stakeholders to mitigate the gaps to provide a seamless experience for the end customer. Support functional, validation, API, and UI testing in an Agile delivery model. Use of Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman, JIRA, Datadog, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and SQL.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Test Analyst, Software Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Java, Python, Angular, and Kubernetes. 40hrs/week.
