This role supports a dedicated customer's business as a Senior Business Analyst on the Shopper & Consumer Insights team. Responsibilities:
Analyzes syndicated and geodemographic data to uncover shopper trends and support experiential initiatives
Works with client teams to understand business needs and deliver insights aligned with strategic goals
Creates compelling presentations with clear narratives and visualizations and applies storytelling techniques and branding standards
Contributes to team best practices and process enhancements and shares knowledge and collaborates across functions
Create data automation and reporting that drives operational and business development efficiencies
Provide weekly sales summaries based on extracts from a major retailer's internal reporting platform
Create test / control store testing for post-program analyses
Qualifications:
4 - 6 years in retail analytics or category management (not financial/data-only analytics).
Data access/Usage Experience.
Circana
Nielsen
Shopper Loyalty (preferred_
Advanced Excel - reporting, scorecards
Quality control of data, formatting, and outputs
Power BI and Databricks preferred.
Strong communication and storytelling ability

Job Duty
Data Analysis/Interpretation/Recommendation
* Analyze business needs/requirements and provide recommendations to implement and administer new/existing products, processes, and systems
* Identify client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement
* Utilize various data systems, extract raw data from reporting systems, and conduct in-depth analysis on various KPI's
* Define major business opportunities by prioritizing information to support the goals of our Clients, Customers, and Company
* Consult with internal and external customers to present data and provide actionable insights to assist with meeting business objectives, tactics, or marketing strategies
Project/Client Management and Support
* Perform project management duties by executing project schedules and deadlines, monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems, and ensuring timely deliverables
* Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
* Provide business updates and track overall business KPI's for management and executive team
* Manage and maintain ongoing strategic and collaborative relationships
Manage Direct Reports
* Manage, train, and mentor team to help them achieve skill development and professional objectives
* Manage workload of direct reports to ensure client satisfaction
* Create best-in-class practices for team to follow
