Plummer’s Disposal Service is looking for a reliable person to work as a general labor employee. This candidate will provide support throughout several areas in the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for running deliveries either to or from the facility and job sites.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean workspace.
- Responsible for lifting (up to 50 - 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Responsible to communicate professionally with customers and others within our organization.
- Restocking supplies and inventory.
- Responsible to wash rental equipment in our wash bay.
- Responsible for ride along’ s to support drivers with deliveries or pickups of rental equipment.
- Representing the company with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all company policies, instructions and training.
- Follow all company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75lbs.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and follow specific direction verbally or written.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting or individually.
Organizational Culture
- Reporting to work on time and with a positive attitude.
- Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers.
- Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday.
- Paid weekly.
- Annual safety boot reimbursement (up to $100).
Physical Work Conditions
The physical demands required to successfully perform the job are as follows.
- Must be able to lift and move rental equipment onto trucks with lift gates, low trailers and maneuver them on various surfaces for event set up.
- The employee will need to be able to stand, walk, Sit or kneel.
- The employee will need to be able to lift 50 – 75 pounds.
- The employee will need to be able to read, write, hear and talk.
- Proper personal protective equipment must be worn when required.
Education Required/ Preferred
- High School Diploma required.
- Chauffeur License (preferred but not necessary)
Other Responsibilities
Some weekends are required to work, and employee will be notified in advance of upcoming work.
