The Machine Shop Production Support primarily deburrs production parts from the CNC machines and assists in shipping and receiving functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deburr production parts from CNC machines
Uses various hand tools to clean unwanted FOD from machined parts
Uses microscope extensively to ensure all burrs are removed
Occasional operation of CNC machines
Loads and unloads parts requiring washing from the vapor degreaser/ultrasonic wash station
Actively identifies machine issues with parts and notifies Machine Shop Technician when found
Carefully handles parts and routes to next appropriate step in the parts process
Assists in packaging of parts for shipment to vendors and customers when required
Assists in receiving of materials and goods
Ensures areas are clean of FOD and organized
Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Must be detail oriented
Machining experience a plus
Strong verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
May be extended periods of standing required
