Lead and supervise team of Controls Engineers and detailers designing electrical layouts, control panels, wiring schematics, PLC programming, description of operations, and graphical reporting for airport baggage handling systems. Manage staffing (performance reviews, timecards, compliance), delegate work, and coordinate with mechanical engineering and project management. Manage requirements, integration, configuration changes. Oversee system functionality and technical quality. Coach team, resolve complex issues, attend customer design review meetings, support proposals, estimate new work, drive improvement initiatives. Approximately 30% travel to project sites throughout the United States.
Requires B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or closely related plus three years’ experience designing, installing and commissioning electrical/PLC control systems for airport baggage handling systems.
