Responsible for seating ventilation, heating, and sensor systems to analyze customer and prospect needs and establish strategies to assist with expanding Lear's existing customer base in the US; serving as the direct customer contact for all key sales endeavors, including communicating key technical details regarding certain systems capabilities, executing sales specific to customer needs, and providing ongoing service and follow-up with customers; responsible for cultivating relationships with key accounts, discussing and monitoring their product needs, and identifying opportunities to increase sales; collaborating with the Business Development Manager on quotes and present them to the customer, and ensure all applicable documents and forms accompany internal and external RFQs with appropriate signatures; responsible for serving as a key IGB resource for seat ventilation systems, particularly the Peltier cooling elements supporting the ventilation function as well as the tuning for of the system for minimum noise output; utilize and apply knowledge of Hands of detection sensor (HOD, NVH measurement and analysis, ventilation, SBR system, lumbar systems, electronic and software sales, Battery Thermal Management System product development, and thermal management product development to accomplish necessary tasks; utilizing intimate knowledge of our product components to collaborate on the assessment of new product ideas, feasibility studies, and marketing strategies; responsible for estimating sale volumes, product mix, market share, and monitor account performance, and will liaise with internal departments to ensure rate requests are monitored and required loadings are completed in an acceptable timeframe; updating and maintaining the online quoting systems, managing customers that exceed demand and/or deliverables, and supporting the finance department with commercial issues; reporting on and staying informed of competitive activities, and reviewing and approving sales contracts and resolve discrepancies; coordinating with Program Management as necessary to ensure smooth transitions; maintaining records and reports in a concise manner, and updating documentation; supporting the attainment and maintenance of quality standards certifications; fulfilling responsibilities while upholding company health and safety policy and legislation; and maintaining confidentiality of all information received from the customer and the company.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None;
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Sr. Account Manager, as a Senior Product Manager, as a Business Development Manager, or a related occupation;
