Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company specializing in retail and storage rack systems, is seeking a Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the fabrication and assembly of steel components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Taylor, MI
Pay Range: $19-$20/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
Perform flat MIG welding on steel materials to create durable components
Fabricate and assemble retail and storage rack systems with precision
Maintain high quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process
Assist with general shop duties as needed to support team productivity
Participate in weld testing to ensure skill proficiency and quality standards
What's Needed?
Prior MIG welding experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with training are encouraged to apply
Ability to pass an on-site weld test conducted Tuesday-Thursday mornings
Ability to lift up to 65 lbs safely and consistently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to reliability
Personal protective equipment including helmet/face shield is recommended for weld testing
