MATERIAL HANDLER
Position Summaries:
The Truss Builder is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses according to engineered drawings and company specifications. We are seeking candidates with previous truss building, construction, or carpentry experience who can contribute to quality, safety, and efficiency in our manufacturing process.
The Sawyer is responsible for operating the lumber saw and accurately cutting lumber to specifications for truss and panel production. This position supports manufacturing operations by maintaining production flow, organizing cut materials, and following all safety and quality standards.
The Forklift Material Handler for Components is responsible for operating forklifts to move and manage heavy materials, including lumber, OSB, roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products (EWP) within our yard and production areas. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring materials are properly stored, organized, and efficiently delivered to their next destination. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production processes and timely delivery, working closely with the manufacturing and sales teams to uphold our core values while fostering a customer-obsessed culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Required: Prior experience in truss building, construction, manufacturing, or carpentry
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and measurements
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a manufacturing facility and outdoor yard environment
- Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift
- Standard hours with occasional overtime based on production demand
