About this Role - Billing Clerk
We are looking for a talented Billing Clerk who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for reviewing all job costs and prepare customer invoices per contractual language, record sales and verify customer billings.
What You'll Do
-Provide clerical support for the department
-Create job files
-Review all job costs and supporting documentation
-Prepare customer invoices per contractual language
-Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
-Assists with inputting or verifying data entry into customer billing programs and JDE
-Assists with job closings
What You'll Bring
-A basic understanding of generally accepted accounting practices
-Basic knowledge of general office procedures and practices
-Demonstrated multi-tasking, data entry skills, and prioritizing
-Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-Proven communication, organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills
-Excellent computer skills that includes experience with Microsoft Office applications
-High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred)
-Office/accounting experience preferred
