Job Description
Bay Tech is seeking a Removable Insulation Stuffer / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator. The Insulation Stuffer will lay out and stuff removable insulation covers and replace insulation materials as needed.
The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic and be a team player. Good personal hygiene is required. All tattoos must be covered while working.
No experience is necessary. Bay Tech is willing to train the right person.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stuff and pin removable insulation covers
- Cut insulation materials
- Make insulation supplies
- Clear and dispose of old insulation according to established safety guidelines
- Load, unload, and stock insulation materials as needed
- Safely use scissors
- Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older to operate industrial machines
- Good hand-eye coordination
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or climbing ladders
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time
Work Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Weekends and Holidays Off
