We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and creative individual to join our bakery team as a Part-time Cake Decorator/Bakery Merchandiser.This position combines cake decorating skills with bakery merchandising responsibilities to help create an inviting bakery department that exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to customer orders and store standards.
- Write personalized messages and create custom cake designs.
- Assist customer with cake orders and special requests.
- Merchandise bakery products to create attractive displays and maximize sales.
- Stock, rotate, and maintain freshness of bakery products.
- Package and label bakery items accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provides excellent customer service and work as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Previous cake decorating experience preferred.
- Artistic ability and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
