Peer Support Specialist Support Staff
Under the Direction of the Executive Director the Peer Support Specialist Support Staff is responsible for the following duties:
- Answer phone calls
- Filing
- Distribute incoming/outgoing mail/deliveries
- Create and maintain membership files
- Enter and submit sign in data for reporting to Executive Director
- Create/maintain databases for all groups, activities, and other information needed by Executive Director for reporting
- Contribute information/articles for newsletters
- Submit monthly supply inventory
- Participate in assigned community groups and/or activities
- Support members by providing peer support and peer based experiences as needed
- Welcome, sign-up, and facilitate tours of the Center for visitors/new members
- Create/distribute monthly activity calendar
- Facilitate groups as needed
- Facilitate activities for members
- Maintain community resources for members
- Contact Board of Directors for monthly meetings
- Coordinate lunches with staff at designated times
- Coordinate daily cleaning with staff/volunteers
- Other duties as assigned
