Green Arrow Staffing is currently seeking a Composites Technician for an exciting manufacturing opportunity in Roseville, Michigan. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality composite components used in advanced seating systems and other precision-built products. The Composites Department sets the pace for the entire production operation, making this a highly visible and impactful role.

Position Summary
The Composites Technician is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing composite components using carbon fiber, plastics, metals, and adhesives. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble composite components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Cut, shape, bond, and process materials including carbon fiber, metal, plastics, and adhesives
- Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper fit and bonding
- Utilize hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively
- Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure accuracy
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and engineering requirements
- Track production progress using Visual Factory and Epicor systems
- Maintain accurate documentation, material tracking, and scrap records
- Support production schedules by delivering components on time
- Participate in PPE and safety training programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Manufacturing internship experience is a plus
- STEM program graduates encouraged to apply
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must comply with department cell phone policy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings
- Experience working with carbon fiber or composite materials preferred
- Familiarity with manufacturing software systems is a plus
