McDonald & Associates, CPAs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of individual and business clients while developing your accounting and tax expertise in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, business, payroll, and other tax returns
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting services
- Prepare financial statements and related reports
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
- Research tax and accounting issues as needed
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Assist with year-end reporting and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Experience in public accounting preferred but not required
- Knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with Accounting CS, Drake, or similar software is a plus
