We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including delivery driving, shuttle driving, and paratransit services.
-Must be 26yrs or older
-Must have a clean driving Record and be able to pass a drug test
-Must pass a Background check
-Must be good with Navigation and map usage and travel long distance
-Must know how to use a Smartphone
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers or goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Handle heavy lifting as required for deliveries or assisting passengers with luggage or mobility aids.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Experience with paratransit services or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers, clients, and team members.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for deliveries or assisting passengers.
- Familiarity with bus driving or limousine services is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
