Job Description

Perform PLC / HMI Programming and Commissioning conveyor system with Level 1,2,3 Checkout. Review engineering documentation and drawings to meet strict project deadlines. Coordinate with 3rd-party vendors to integrate electrical and mechanical equipment.-Setting up and testing motor protection, VFD parameters, and MDR cards for safe operation. Test all field I/O and ensuring E-stop safety devices match engineering drawings. Validate HMI screens and PLC base code to ensure correct system functionality. Optimize material flow using logic for jam detection, merges, and traffic management. Primary worksite is Farmington Hills MI but relocation possible.

Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 6 months experience as Project Engineer or Control Engineer or System Engineer or Project Manager.
