Position Summary:
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the Casino Resort exterior and grounds. Coordinate regularly with Facility Engineers. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

In this Role:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and always promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service” standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas.
- Operate tools and equipment as trained.
- Light paintwork as instructed.
- Move, re-arrange, and relocate furniture and equipment.
- Operate power equipment such as power street sweepers, forklifts, man-lifts, cleaning machines, gators, tools, and various types of lawn equipment.
- Clean biohazard spoils and contaminated areas generally outside. Pick up and remove trash and broken glass.
- Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals, fuels, and electrical equipment used within the department.
- Have knowledge of MSDS booklet location for your area.
- Snowplow property during the winter months.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- 2 years of previous exterior public-area cleaning or landscape experience preferred.
- Must possess experience operating power equipment, motorized or mechanized riding cleaners, gators, mowers, and other lawn equipment as well as basic cleaning abilities and skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with the State of Michigan.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Possess basic math skills.
- Understand and comply with all Company and department rules.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
- Ability to tolerate chemicals, fuels, cleansers, and solvents.
- Ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
- Ability to hear and communicate by telephone and radio.
- Ability to climb to and work in elevated work areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. Manual dexterity to operate, maintain, or repair job-related equipment.
Work Conditions:
Work it typically in an exterior environment which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and/or be elevated off the ground and may contain second-hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3ft wide access. Daily tasks may be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned areas and equipment. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
